For now, we only see signs. Fix it then before it is too late! People said that this 2012 stuff will surely happen because of the ending of Mayan Calendar,
prediction by Nostradamus and so many more, but once again, did they not know in the past there were a few so-called accurate predictor who predicted wrongly the end of time.

Why believe in this when it is complete nuisance? I was also once terrified after knowing it on the year 2006, but then I found out long ago people also predicted several dates that the world might end.
People lost hope, gave in to "Since this world is gonna end, no point for me to study/go school/work". This sort of stuff only brought to the world even nearer to an end. It is impossible that a nuclear strike could wiped off the whole humanity ;
End of the world prediction did not give the society any contributions, instead it ruined us by changing the state of our mind.
Take TS for example, (no offense TS) look at the title of the thread " Guys . Lets say byebye to Our Loves one in 2O12". Why say byebye when they are all still with us? Isn't this ruining our own self?

Instead of despairing and saying an early goodbye, why not we try to fix the condition of the earth? Why not we lessen our usage of air conditional and even practice car pooling? If you said that there is no point in "trying" to save the world, you were one of those who gave up too early.
You look at the world at a negative point of view, change it people! Look and think positively. Think about it, one person can make a huge changes to the world, if everyone of us stop doing what is wrong, there is a possible chance we can save it.

I hope this does NOT offend anybody. Correct me if I am wrong at any point

Firstly, people state that many calenders will end at 2O12.
More accurately, 21 December 2O12, (21-12-2012, easy to remember :X)
Cant really remember what will happen, but yea thats what I know.

Secondly, Meteors and Asteroids..
Its possible that they will strike us. In fact, an asteroid can actually come hurling at Earth anytime, partly because of Jupiter's gravity, which can throw an asteroid from the asteroid belt in between Mars and Jupiter at us.
One asteroid actually ski-ed off the Earth's atmosphere a few years back, almost hitting us. Heng right?

If im not wrong, theres this super-volcano in Yellowstone that will erupt, spewing lotsa sulphuric clouds into the sky, preventing sunlight from penetrating through the sky, which means no photosynthesis.
When that happens, no Oxygen= Small chances of surviving.
And the sulphuric gases which also harm us in the process.

My friend also stated that in his religion, there are 40 signs that the world will end.
Now, 38 of them have already happened, so within this 3 years, 2 of them will happen, thus ending on 2O12.

Just sharing my 2 cents. If there are some stuff that I stated wrongly, my apologies because Ive forgotten a few of them already

P.S: I cant even drive a car when I reach 2O12, just nice reach that age, but gonna die =.="

From what I know.. The Sun does not have that amount of mass to explode as a supernova. Instead, in about 5 billion years, it will become a red giant.

Finally, the surface of the Earth will become too hot for liquid water to exist, ending all terrestrial life.

So, yea I guess thats how Earth is gonna end. This is a SURE way that Earth will die, along with all terrestrial life. Unless theres another planet which has the same characteristics of Earth, but it would of course, take ages to reach there.
It will already take ages for us to reach the closest star, Andromeda.
But before that happens, there will bound to be other ways of all life ending.
